Definitions

Service refers to our Market Research Services.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

What data do we collect
We collect and process Personal Data from research participants voluntarily shared for the purposes of participating in a research study. We may Process: your personal details (e.g., your name, biographical information); demographic data; your contact details (e.g., your city/state, email); records of your consents; payment details; information about our Sites (e.g., the type of device you are using); details of your employer (where relevant); and any views or opinions you provide to us.

To contact you regarding any problems or questions we have relating to your participation in a research project, or, at our discretion, notify you of changes to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, or other policies or terms that affect you and your participation in the research project
To register you to receive an incentive after the successful completion of a market research study
To register you for virtual or in-person activities such as interviews, shop along, ethnographic observational activities, group discussions, and any other offline activities for related purposes
When we share your data
ARTYFACT does not sell personal information. We will only share your information with individuals and organizations outside of ARTYFACT in the following circumstances:
You have provided your explicit consent for us to pass data to an ARTYFACT client for market research purposes.
We are using a SOC2 and/or GDPR-compliant third-party service or supplier purely for the purposes of processing data on our behalf. The third-party service providers, to whom we entrust your Personal Data may include, providers of analytic data services, incentive distribution services, marketing services, and recruitment and administration platforms.
We are required by law to share your data.
In the event of a merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition, we may share or transfer your personal information.
In addition, we will only pass data to third parties outside of the EU where appropriate safeguards are in place as defined by Article 46 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
